News 06 Nov 2017, 22:01 IST Sin Cara is currently in a heated feud with WWE United States Champion Baron Corbin. What's the story? Dave Meltzer stated on the most recent edition of that the injury that Sin Cara recently suffered is not considered to be serious. In case you didn't know. Sin Cara's renewed push comes on the heels of signing a new deal with the WWE. On October 31st, reported that he signed a multi-year extension, but there were no other details of the extension at the time of this writing.
Meltzer stated on Wrestling Observer Radio that Sin Cara will be back in action early this week, so thankfully he has dodged any serious injuries from the triple threat match against Baron Corbin and Sami Zayn. Sin Cara is currently feuding with WWE United States Champion Baron Corbin. The feud has intensified over the past couple of weeks as their last two matches resulted in disqualification.
Last week we saw a different side of him as he took the fight to Corbin on the announce table and outside of the ring. Corbin enraged Sin Cara when he tried to remove his mask. With two episodes of SmackDown Live left before Survivor Series on November 19th, Sin Cara may get a chance at Corbin's WWE United States Championship over the next couple of weeks. This week's edition of SmackDown Live will air on tape delay this week as it takes place in Manchester, England. Stay tuned to Sportskeeda for spoilers of those tapings. Author's take It is definitely good to see that Sin Cara's injury wasn't serious and he'll be back in action this week. The timing of the injury couldn't be worse for Sin Cara after getting the biggest push since the break-up of the Lucha Dragons.
While I don't expect him to take the title from Corbin, it is good to see some fresh new feuds in the WWE, and I really liked the fire that Sin Cara had on SmackDown Live last week.
